Carey Bourlett has more than 25 years of experience in Quality Management specializing in Good Manufacturing Practices of dietary supplements. In her current position as Principal Technical Manager, Carey is responsible for managing a team of technical reviewers to ensure ISO 17065 compliance to Dietary Supplement, Cosmetics and Functional Foods product certification schemes.

She has been with NSF for seven years, beginning as an auditor for Dietary Supplement schemes.  Carey’s industry experience includes processing raw botanicals to be used in dietary supplement and cosmetic industries, manufacturing and packaging dietary supplements and OTCs, and formulation and contract manufacturing of dietary supplements.  She is a member of American Society of Quality, the GRMA Technical Committee, and voting member of the joint committee for Dietary Supplements GMP.
