Discover the role of science in what we eat with this engaging introductory course. Students will explore the chemistry, biology, and physics behind food production, preparation, and preservation. Students will learn how to prepare a food product, general requirements in producing food for sale and use hands-on experiments to uncover facts about foods we consume yet rarely think about. Get ready to learn how senses influence taste and play with your food while learning!
Total Time: 2 hours (2, 1-hour sessions)

Audience: 6-12 year olds
